Patrick and I were married July 30, 2011. It was the happiest day of my life!

Getting Ready - My fabulous friend Betsy did my hair and makeup.
Patrick Getting Ready – In honor of both our families’ Scottish heritage, Patrick and the other men wore kilts. The kilt Patrick wore belonged to his oldest brother Josh when he was in the Salt Lake Scots Pipe Band. It is the Salt Lake Scots tartan.
Mama Helping Me Into My Dress (Sottero and Midgley JSM1103) – Betsy and my mom helped me into my gown. I wore my mom’s pearl earrings and necklace, blue socks, and the Lucchese boots that were a gift from my grandpa (Papa Bob). He bought me the boots only a few days before he passed away in March 2009, and asked me to wear them at my wedding.
First Look Photography – I love how Sarah’s photos capture our personalities and the character of our relationship. We love to laugh together. It’s hard to find us at a time when we’re not being silly.

The Ceremony – Both our ceremony and reception were held at The Lodge at Stillwater at Jordanelle Reservoir. Our dear friend Abby was ordained as a minister and performed our ceremony. Patrick’s dad Howard, was once a member of the Salt Lake Scots Pipe Band, and played the bagpipes.
